Our Delivery Promise — and What We Ask of You

At Rachel's Rustic Room | The Sister Boutique, every furniture delivery is personally handled by our owners. This lets us take genuine care of every piece we bring you — but it also means our delivery service works a little differently than a big-box retailer. Please read through our policy so we're on the same page before your piece leaves the store.

Scheduled Delivery Days We deliver on two selected Saturdays each month. Please call (573) 764-5607 for the upcoming delivery dates.

What Our Base Delivery Fee Includes Your base delivery fee (calculated by distance from our store) covers:

  • Safe transport of your furniture from our store to your home
  • Delivery to the first covered space — your garage, covered porch, or immediately inside your front door
  • Care and protection of your piece during transit

What We Ask of You Because delivery is owner-operated, we ask that one able-bodied adult be present and available to help unload larger pieces from the truck. We are not able to bring additional help, and for safety reasons we cannot unload heavy items alone. If you are physically unable to assist, please arrange for a friend, family member, or neighbor to be present at your delivery window.

Want It Delivered Further Into Your Home? We offer two upgrade options at checkout:

Room of Choice Delivery — +$50 We'll place your furniture in the specific room where it will live. Great for pieces going upstairs, down halls, or into a back bedroom. You'll still help us unload from the truck, but we take it from there.

White Glove Setup — +$100 Includes Room of Choice placement, plus unboxing, basic assembly (attaching legs, aligning drawers, leveling), and removal of all packaging materials. You'll still help us unload the heaviest pieces from the truck.

Need It Sooner? Expedited Delivery — +$100 — off-schedule weekend or weekday evening, subject to owner availability Rush Delivery — +$200 — within 72 hours of arrival at our store, subject to owner availability

Expedited and rush delivery are not guaranteed and depend on the owner's calendar. If we're unable to accommodate your requested timing, we'll refund the upcharge and schedule you for the next available standard delivery date.

A Note on Why This Matters Our owners deliver every furniture piece from our store because we believe you deserve better than a rushed drop-off from a stranger. In return, we ask for a little grace around scheduling and a helping hand on delivery day. Thank you for understanding — and for supporting a small, family-run business.
